In the mid-1990s, before Em got famous, he and Royce performed together under the moniker “Bad Meets Evil”; “Renegades” was born out of this project. Now they are back since Slaughterhouse was signed by Shady.

Also notice the relation between “dysfunctional pair” in this line and “panties that can’t function” from the previous line. (Panties is used in the plural — a single unit is a “pair of panties,” hence the dysfunctional pair.)
