Nas is calling out Southern rappers, specifically those from Louisiana, (i.e., Lil Wayne, Baby, Cash Money, etc.) for being simple minded.

Nas claims that it’s obvious that Southern rappers (or those from Louisiana) are involved with the “crime” of rappers losing the art of hip-hop to money. Southern rappers were accused of having simplistic, catchy songs, otherwise known as “ringtone rap”, that many felt diluted the quality of rap as a whole.
