Molotov cocktails were a weapon of choice of the IRA which was formed as a result of British oppression and there presence in Ireland. The IRA fights for the freedoms of Ireland and to try and push the British out of their country thus “protect what’s ours.”
As you can see in the suggestions below, the organization and its tactics are divisive amongst Irish citizens. In liberal political circles, the IRA walk the line between terrorism and freedom fighting, much like the Black Panthers or Hamas.
