Kanye was winning plaques for production well before he was a household name for rapping — peep “Izzo (H.O.V.A.).” He is saying how he was dominant before everyone knew his name, and was receiving awards that spelled his name as “Kayne” or maybe “Kane”
In fact, President George W. Bush once referred to him as “Kanway West” (before correcting himself)
And yes, this is the correct line. Before you comment anything you think we haven’t heard, he does not say plastics.
