We make a sound even if nobody’s around
This is a play on the philosophical question concerning observation and the knowledge of reality: “If a tree falls in a forest, and nobody is around to hear it, does it still make a sound?”
This could also be taken as a statement about Das Racist’s rap ethic. DR raps for the fun of it, so even if nobody’s around to listen, they’re still gonna be making music because it’s what they do.
