Common brags about his prowess in committing hate crimes, noting how he and his friends would stalk and then pounce on their quarry. He does, however, make his gay bashing sound pretty…gay (“stalking” and “banging” fags), so perhaps there’s some poetic justice in this line.

Com has since apologized for his homophobic lyrics, which we should note were rampant at the time, even in so-called “conscious” hip-hop.
