Big replies with the “At last a nigga rappin bout blunts and broads…sex in expensive cars i"ll still leave u on the pavement” Saying its about time Nas changed his style from the “Street Poet” to the rapper about money like Big was (The difference in production between Illmatic and It was Written are very different)

Nas was supposedly broke after illmatic didnt sell as much as expected, a complete contrast to the success of ready to die, Big’s first album (“Condo paid for, no car payment”)
