Much like Alanis Morisette’s song — this is NOT actually an example of irony (one would expect a drug dealer to try to avoid prison — NOT ironic!)
However, there’s a pun here on irony/iron bars (in prison) — reminiscent of Jay’s metaphor in “Blue Magic”
…..The irony is that the bars he spits after saying “the ironies are…” at all costs better avoid these bars. Meaning the very bars he used to explain to you that you should avoid these bars are the ones you should pay the most attention to in order to be a successful drug dealer
