Continuing the education theme from the previous line, Styles wants schools to teach the “3 R’s”: reading, writing and marksmanship (with guns made by German gunmaker Ruger, which rhymes with ruler, which is used in ‘rithmetic)
Taken together, this and the previous line form an image of Styles cooperating with the Cuban government to build himself an educated, elite Cuban commando paramilitary unit
