Where fake niggas don't make it back
This was the time in rap where if you were rapping about something you had no business rapping about, you’d be found out and your career was at risk. For example, Christopher Wallace aka The Notorious B.I.G. would claim to be a resident of Brooklyn neighborhood Bedford-Stuyvesant.
This was a lie — Biggie grew up in nearby Clinton Hill. He was one of the lucky ones, and his career suffered no damage despite the fabrication.
This isn’t to say Biggie’s life of selling drugs was a fabrication. Living in Bed-Stuy, however, was.
At the end of the day, though, Biggie repped BK all day, that’s what matters. He loved Bed-Stuy and all of Brooklyn.
But enough about Biggie, this is a Nasty Nas song! Queens, what up!
