I had to get off the boat so I could walk on water
This ain't no tall order, this is nothing to me

from Kanye West (Ft. Jay Z) – Diamonds From Sierra Leone (Remix) Lyrics on Rap Genius

Meaning

Possibly a reference to when former Roc-a-Fella rapper Beanie Sigel compared the label to a boat in “Feel it in the Air”:

I ain’t the captain of the yacht but I’m on the boat
I ain’t acting what I’m not knowing that I don’t

In Mathew 14, Peter — one of the twelve Apostles — stepped off the boat to walk on the same water as Jesus but failed. Jesus reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him: “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

Jay Z, unlike Peter, doesn’t doubt himself (this is nothing to him!). And it’s safe to say that Jay did just fine without some of his old Roc-a-Fella crew.
