He was trying to make it as a rapper. Irv Gotti, CEO of Murder Inc or The Inc records tried to stop him because of issues 50 Cent had with Ja Rule, an artist of Murder Inc.
Irv Gotti called record labels and artists 50 Cent was working with, and told them not to work with 50 Cent because he was dangerous.
An example: 50 Cent was supposed to do the track with Jennifer Lopez ‘I’m Gonna Be Allright’. 50 Cent already did the verse and got paid for it, but it was decided to take him off the track and instead feature Nas.
Also he is refering to people like Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff aka Preme and Chaz “Slim” Williams for wanting him dead.
