You deserve three stacks, word to André
The girl deserves money. This is also a reference to André 3000 aka André 3 Stacks.
The shout out to André 3000 is a reference to a couple lines from his part in a song on Lil Wayne’s album Tha Carter IV, which was released 21 days after Watch the Throne, but the track (“Interlude”) was presumably recorded before “That’s My Bitch”. In “Interlude”, André 3000 raps: “How come the only girls that are thought of/Are the light ones?/Well tonight then, we gon’ do it, do it, do it for the dark ones.” Not to mention that André showed love to Beyoncé way back in 2003’s “Hey Ya!”
Now all the Beyonce’s and Lucy Lius
And babydolls, get on the floor
Coincidentally, 3 Stacks was featured on Beyoncé’s song, “Party,” produced by Kanye. André lays low and has turned down a lot of guest features, so getting a guest feature from him is special.
Since we are discussing painters in this section, this could also plausibly be heard as a reference to André Derain (or any other painter/scultpor named Andre) a French painter and sculptor whose paintings sell for $6 million.
