People think since Tyler has all this fame now, that he’s got the greatest life. Now he’s admitting that deep down he still has the same problems, just more money and success. Following on from the Kurt Kobain reference in the last line, the suicidal feelings he had before didn’t go away; he feels just as bad as he did when he was broke. He explains his suicidal feelings here in his song Goblin. However, because he won the VMA for Best New Artist, and has his own room instead of having to live on his Grandma’s sofa, (something else he also talks about in Goblin), people ignore the fact that he’s still got real mental problems.

Finally, this could be a reference to the video and this line in his song Yonkers, where he talks about being suicidal, and in the video ends up hanging himself. A year later, despite having his video being critically acclaimed by many and going viral, he is still suicidal.
