This is your life now, so please claim your baggage
Time to be a grown ass man.
“Baggage” = issues (usually with a negative connotation)
“Claim” = take responsibility for
And so, Khan’s not talking flying when he says you “claim your baggage” (although the baggage claim phrasing is great rhetoric/wordplay), but rather imploring that you take responsiblity for (“claim”) your issues (“baggage”) or “your life.”
This is why later he gets tired of relying on others and listening to what they say/promise to him. Eventually, he packs his dreams and makes the move to New York to actually pursue his dreams.
