Pacifism pagan thresh hold
Aesop uses alliteration to string together Peter, Pacifism, and pagan, all symbols of peaceful ideology. However, eventually you reach your threshold, (or limit of tolerance) and act violently, like telling someone to kiss the speaker wire.
This could also tie in with “halo on a stick” from previous verse, meaning that he isn’t really legit when it comes to peace.
