Tell PETA my mink is dragging on the floor
Earlier this year Kanye West was spotted rocking a $100,000 mink coat which caused some controversy. PETA commented on this, saying he’s pathetic. Kanye couldn’t care less about what PETA has to say. Serves them right for talking greasy about his girlfriend.
“Tell PETA my mink is dragging on the floor” is extra disrespectful to animal rights activists when you consider that:
a) a mink “dragging on the floor” is too big for the wearer, therefore its size is surplus to the wearer’s needs. More animals than necessary were harmed in the making of Kanye’s coat, but he couldn’t give a chinchilla’s ass.
b) a mink “dragging on the floor” (presumably collecting floor dirt, spilled drinks and various bodily fluids along the way) shows additional disrespect to the dead animal whose fur was used in the making of said mink.
Kanye places his right to show off his newfound wealth above the feelings of PETA and their beloved dead animals in the ultimate display of I-don’t-give-a-fuck righteousness.
PETA didn’t take too kindly to ‘Ye’s comment:
What’s draggin' on the floor is Kanye’s reputation as a man with no empathy for animals or human beings. He’s a great musician but doesn’t seem to have the fashion sense to design anything more than caveman costumes. We keep hoping that one day he’ll find his heart and join evolved style icons — including Russell Simmons, Pink, and Natalie Portman — who have dropped animal skins.

Puff Daddy said it first, in his song “The World Is Filled” with Notorious B.I.G. The way Kanye says “PETA” almost sounds like “P. Did.”
