I'm not tryin' to show no macho is shown
But when it's on, if it's on, then it's on
This verse is about how one’s view of conflict changes from childhood to adulthood. Fatlip isn’t trying to show off, or act macho, but when he is threatened, if he has to fight, than he is more than willing to. Really, he needed to learn how to ignore provocation, because haters are aggressive to everybody and you just gotta let it slide most of the time, or fight it out only when it’s really on.
