It better not be no real folk
Who don't think that they better than you
Straight or gay, drunk and high
They walk through the cold and weather wit' 'chu

from Lecrae – Church Clothes Lyrics on Rap Genius

Meaning

The phrasing of the first line here, once again, parallels and repeats “it better not be…” from the last two verses.

The narrator hopes there isn’t a church that defies the stereotype of having self-righteous members who look down on those who are unholy. If there is a church out there with members who care about others and walk them through their trials and storms, the narrator has yet another superficial excuse taken away.
