Meyer Lansky was one of the most powerful men in America during the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. Born in Russia in 1902, he later established himself in the world of organized crime in America. Lansky served as an associate for both the Italian and Jewish Mafia. He and Lucky Luciano brought mobsters all over the country together to form the National Crime Syndicate, which is why Rozay says this line, referring to the founding of the Maybach Music Group.
