An obvious reference to the 1982 horror film Candyman. In which a sun of slave from Louisianna is brought back to life by saying ‘Candyman’ 5 times into a mirror. Candyman was originally killed by a racist lynch mob for his relations with white daughter of a rich landowner. His hand is severed with a fish hook and honey is poured on him for bees to be attack him.
