Artists make corporate Hip Hop (Hip Pop) to get as much sales as possible. Seeing most, if not all, CD sales go directly to the label — it is basically stealing from the poor to give to the rich CEO’s.

The reason why it is stealing is because the Hip Hop sold is dumbed down extremely, so it really isn’t even Hip Hop at all.

Note the wordplay on Robin Hoods/Robbin' Hoods. Robin Hood was known from stealing from the rich only to give to the poor in english folklore, and “Robbin' Hoods” is to steal from the rich and give to the poor in this line.
