Rich Porter was a major drug dealer in the mid to late ‘80’s in Harlem, NY. The character Mitch played my Mekhi Phifer Paid in Full is loosely based off of Porter.

Jay likens himself to Porter because of the lavish lifestyle that Porter lived. Apparently, Porter never wore the same outfit twice and owned dozens of luxury cars. Jay (during the peak of Roc-A-Fella) never worn the same pair Air Force 1’s twice and owns dozens of high-end designer watches.
