This line, and the one before it, is a couplet that implies that it doesn’t matter if the kids have clearance (Parental Censorship, or Parent Locks) because they understand the internet better; hence they can find ways around the limitations the parent(s) may set.
The upcoming “Internet Generation” (2000 — Present) is more accustomed to using the internet than their parents are, since they have lived with internet their entire lives.
It could also mean that kids listen to things on the internet more than they listen to their parents.
