Found my black queen Cleopatra, bad dreams, Cleopatra

from Frank Ocean – Pyramids Lyrics on Rap Genius

Meaning

Cleopatra’s “King” found her laying with another man. Betrayed and infuriated, he wishes her “bad dreams” (and probably worse)

If life is a dream, and he envisions himself as a modern day Pharoah whose queen’s image is most idolized in the strip club, then this reality must be a bad dream.
It could also be the answer to question in the previous lines of “how she could run off on him and ”us“… maybe the context of black history from the fall of the Egyptian empire to slavery, to the modern socio-political and economic situation seems more like a nightmare of a reality than just a dream.

Regarding the “black queen Cleopatra” part, Ocean seems to hold a more afrocentric view of Egyptian history. From wikipedia, “Proponents of Afrocentrism support the claim that the contributions of various African people have been downplayed or discredited as part of the legacy of colonialism and slavery’s pathology of "writing Africans out of history”.“ Ocean wants to make it clear that she was black for the song, thus strengthening the story line he has created of a black woman’s fall from grace.
