The song samples a Britney Spears song entitled “Toxic”. According to Wikipedia the song came out in 2004; however, although it was released/promoted as a single in January 2004, the album that the song was released on, “In the Zone,” came out in November 2003.

Brown is also shouting out Gambino when he says “Ya Know Me” as Childish’s track by the same name continuously repeats the phrase “Bitch… you know me!”
