"Bo Bo, you need prayer" - I guess it couldn't hurt me
If it brings me to my knees
It's a bad religion

from Frank Ocean – Bad Religion Lyrics on Rap Genius

Meaning

“Bo Bo” ia an African mode of address meaning “boy”/“kid”. Many Africans will use the word Bo Bo to address younger men. (This could also be heard as “but boy”, but that would just have a lamer explanation, and the liner notes confirm “bo bo” anyway.)

When the taxi driver tells him he needs prayer, Frank accepts it by saying, “I guess it couldn’t hurt me.” He’s willing to try other forms of “religion” because the infatuation-based one he’s in right now is killing him. It brings him to his knees because of the emotional pain.

Also, if Frank has to beg forgiveness (begging on his knees) within a formal religion, then he considers it to be a bad religion because it doesn’t accept him for who he is.
