Feet covered in cut flowers
This is a reference to Buddhist traditions — cut flowers can be used as an altar offering, or left at particularly holy statues or shrines. The Buddha Siddhartha at birth took seven steps, and each step produced a lotus flower under his feet. Interestingly, the Abhaya mudra mentioned below is most commonly seen on figures depicting a walking Buddha. “Lord lotus feet” is also a term used to describe holy men or gods in Hinduism, and lotus blossoms are also used in Buddhist iconography.
