You went to Cranbrook, that's a private school
What's the matter dog, you embarrassed?
Earlier in the movie, Rabbit discovers that “Papa Doc” attended the Cranbrook School, an expensive private boarding school which counts Mitt Romney as one of its alumni.
Not a good look for the leader of the Free World, not to mention for somebody who’s been ripping on Rabbit for his background. Papa Doc’s high socioeconomic status becomes a greater handicap to his credibility than Rabbit’s race is to his own. This is because him going to a private school means he was probably spoiled and he never went through the hardships that B-Rabbit and the other inhabitants of the projects have to go through on a daily basis, struggling to get enough money for their bare necessities (excluding education).
The tables have now turned.
