Dropped Lyrics

[Verse 1]
It slipped
Out
Of my hands
Went deep down

[Chorus 1]
Wandering
Stumbling
I don’t wanna start
Don’t want to start

[Verse 2]
When I got your heart
I got your heart
It slipped down
Out
My hands

[Chorus 2]
And flipped
Out
Wandering
Stumbling

And I fell apart
I fell apart

About

Genius Annotation

Like much of Thom Yorke’s work outside of Radiohead, “Dropped” is a rhythmic electronic track with relatively sparse, universal lyricism.

The song seemingly details the despair of a relationship’s end; however, producer Nigel Godrich uploaded a clip titled “Time Was Dropped” shortly before the release of AMOK, indicating that, as is the case with much of Thom’s abstract lyrical content, “Dropped” may possess multiple feasible interpretations.
