After slipping into reality back in ‘92, Burnstradamus has been persistently, progressively, influencing and inspiring those around him since his middle school days when he used to sit around the lunch table, banging beats out on the table and rapping with friends. What started out only as a fun hobby, manifested into what you hear and see today.
His original alias; Burna, was created by one of his close friends who helped him progress as an artist as well as a person through his school years. Though he later changed his name to Burnstradamus to add more uniqueness and individuality to his persona, he still holds both names close to heart.
In high school he was in a group called The Hiphop Conglomerates [THC], which included two other artists; Don Amadeus and Jay. Though most of the collaborations between these guys never hit the webs, nevertheless they helped mold Burnstradamus into who he is today and he still respects and appreciates the work they all put in, though it ultimately never worked out.
You know now that Burnstra hasn’t always been in Breaking The Silence. He was first signed to a small Columbus record label called Get Down Or Lay Down Records back in 2009. Back then alongside Alexander Cliche, they both created a foundation for Burnstradamus’ musical path that set the way for the Westerville-native artist.
After the unfortunate dispute over finances and the unwillingness to settle sides and issues, GDLD split and never saw one another again. After going solo for a few years, Burnstra met OG Chops, a current member of BTS.
Friends for a few years OG Chops (who is also a
Columbus native) then connected Burnstradamus to Ramdis (who is also a Columbus native) and the day after, BTS hit the studio and created Bands In The Condo.
Ever since, BTS has been making hits in AmeriSound Studios in Hilliard, Ohio, as well as, other studios in the region to help break the silence and bring awareness about the corruption of the world and to bring an assertive, yet positive message to the public in the hopes that with awareness and expression we can overcome some of the major shadows that are cast across society today.
