Hot Fudge Lyrics

[Produced by Backspin The Vibe Chemist]

[Verse 1]
Yuh, yo, I rearrange your whole chump change
Complicate your vision and make the world look strange
Try to remain calm, but yet you still feel perspiration
Drip from the top of your lip losin' concentration
Don't you try to front like we got some type affiliation
Bought your man some peaceful shit to avoid the confrontation!
Fear me, gets through your bloodstream, feel the circulation
Permanently trife and affectin' life like immunization
Oh, shit, I've got you feeling nervous on purpose (Ha!)
I love bringin' that shit right at you, door to door service
Instantaneous you will still get your shit bust
Only spontaneous (Ha!), all that shit talk is miscellaneous
You be rolling shady, we gon' establish all the shadiest!
Yet all of my black peoples be the most craziest
Numerals of funerals every day!
When I take a closer look at all my niggas around my way (Ha!)

[Chorus]
Yeah, I love to dig from deep within makin' your head spin
Hot Fudge comin' on in, good Lord
Hot Fudge comin' on in, good Lord
Hot Fudge comin' on in, good Lord
Hot Fudge, do-do-do-da, do-do-dee
Do-do-da-da, oww, oww, oww
Do-do-da, do-do-dee
Do-da-do-da, yaww, yaww, yaww
[Verse 2]
Ayo! You look like my man, y'all look similiar!
Alibis that niggas tryin' use like we familiar (Ha)
Fuck that! You really need to check your criteria
Violatin' the world, annihilate your whole area
Been in this too long to allow niggas to try to take mine
23 years deep and I still exist as Busta Rhymes!
Ayo, I'm in this to win this, gets down to handle my business
While I be Busta Rhymes, you still be whoever your name is!
In my past life the world felt my mega blast
Now in my present life I'ma still bust your fuckin' ass!
Yo, it's been predicted ever since I was a child
Gettin' addicted to candy bars, I was still wicked!
Drop jewels on many fools while my niggas pack tools!
In '89 (Ha) when we signed this Leaders of the New School!
Four lyrical Schwarzeneggers rollin' like commanders
Wreckin' shit, hit after hit, while we set the standards
Back when came Leaders of the New, it was like a dream come true (Ha)
You could scream on the mic and do what you gotta do

In the meantime, I show improved and stick my lagoon theory
Scream at the top of my lungs until you fuckers hear me!

[Chorus]
Yeah, I love to dig from deep within makin' your head spin
Hot Fudge comin' on in, good Lord
Hot Fudge comin' on in, good Lord
Hot Fudge comin' on in, good Lord
Hot Fudge, do-do-do-da, do-do-dee
Do-do-da, oww, oww, oww
Do-do-do-da, do-do-dee
Do-da-do-da, da, yaww, yaww
[Interlude]
Da, do-dee
Da-do-da, oww, oww, oww
(Ooh! Haw! Hey!)
Da, oww, oww, oww

[Outro]
Numerals of funerals everyday
Numerals (Ha!) of funerals everyday
Numerals of funerals everyday
Numerals of funerals everyday
Numerals of funerals everyday
Numerals of funerals everyday
Numerals of funerals everyday
Numerals of funerals everyday
Numerals of funerals everyday
Numerals of funerals everyday
Numerals of funerals everyday

[Skit: Busta Rhymes | Uncredited Female]
So what's up? You lookin' nice tonight
Go to a hotel or somethin'? I'on know 'bout no hotel
Whatchu wanna do?
I was hopin you'd buy me a condom, I'd let you taste it
Oh, so suck your pussy? Why not?

Genius Annotation

“Hot Fudge” is track 7 on Busta Rhymes' debut studio album The Coming, released in 1996. The track features a much darker and more melancholy sound than the tracks before it, although Busta remains as animated as ever. This dark production would be seen more often in the second half of this album than in the first.

The producer of this track, Backspin the Vibe Chemist, seems to have faded into obscurity after this album, where he produced two tracks – this one and “Flipmode Squad Meets Def Squad”. His final appearance for Busta was on a track called “Wild For Da Night” by Rampage featuring Busta, released in 1997, after which he never produced for Busta again. He was present throughout the two Leaders Of The New School albums, however, on tracks such as “Show Me A Hero” and “Time Will Tell”.
