Kasek’s explanation is accurate. Though I used flop to describe not reaching what is expected of me (ex: ‘His album flopped!’), I can see how people could interpret it his way, too.

One thing I don’t want to do with my music is sell myself out to get more hits or some kind of advantage. Or as many say, I won’t be ‘fake’.

“He’s flopping, ref!”

You know, the people that are really saying something are often ignored.

People want those club bangers 24/7. smh lol

You’re trying to get to where you want to be and it’s been tough, but you have your eyes on something potentially great.

Doubters and naysayers could be motivation to get better and ultimately heard from the masses.

Not literally or in the evil since. What I mean is having the love and respect of everyone. Of course in this song, I’m talking about music specifically.

This part wasn’t in the original song. I felt it would make the song stronger in the end and it really raises many questions. The friend knew that the older kid counted 90, right? Maybe he wasn’t going to tell him originally but felt bad? Was the older kid going to give the friend the split of the amount that he stole? There are a lot of possibilities, really.

I have no plans to making a sequel, btw. It’d probably be whack. lol

Though this story is fictional, I thought about using my parents for this part. I ended up just doing it myself because I preferred this song being a ‘one man show’.

With that said, if you’ve been around my parents, you’ll notice I was quite accurate. My brother Jonathan thought this part was funny.

Older kid made the horrible decision of trying to short them…lost it all.

Oh, and his thieving ass gets left looking like this:

He definitely wasn’t the bravest of them all…

Scare tactics. Probably a good idea, especially if his parents are home. Wouldn’t want him to have to explain what he did, I’m sure.

Now he’s outside with him looking like this:

"Making of the Beat w/ Cam" (Chance The Rapper – Cocoa Butter Kisses) | pending

Beautiful.

"Not to mention / That thing is swollen" (Justin Bieber – Hold Tight) | accepted

Swollen is another term used to describe a big ass. You know, something like this:

"I wish niggas a-pail" (Rapsody – Jedi Code) | accepted

Phonte may be playing with the words ‘appeal’ and ‘a pail’, considering a pail is another word for a bucket.

"Wreck the Porsche before you give them the car key" (Big Sean – Control) | rejected

The whole molly part was referring to corny rappers using and shouting out the drug and what it’s doing to them. He’s comparing them to these girls that, in the middle of their fame, do these reckless, stupid things.

Of course, comparing a rapper to a spoiled, rich white girl is probably quite offensive. Bwaha

In conclusion:

=

The line isn’t “Even though I act my worse.” It’s “Even or at my worst.

Also, worse wouldn’t have been the correct word. Worse is a comparative adjective. Worst is a superlative adjective, meaning it’s the highest form of those adjectives.

Example: “This burger is older.” When you hear the word older, you know you’re comparing it to others, right? Someone could say “Older than what?” That would be a comparative adjective. “This burger is the oldest.” That’s the highest form. Nothing tops it.

Using worse, Chris Brown would have to be comparing himself to someone else, which he isn’t.

Just trying to help you guys out…

"You know, get a job or if acting’s your career / Seems yo..." (Joe Budden – Ordinary Love Shit Part 3 (Closure)) | pending

She claims to be an actress but she hasn’t done any projects. Joe said that she has been acting from right here; meaning their house or their relationship in general. Basically, she’s been acting about being an actress. He also could be saying she’s been lying in general.

Referring to the table leaning part, he may be suggesting that he ‘carries all the weight’ in the relationship, meaning makes most of the income. He’d like her to work as well.

"Ozo on these doppelgänger Jojos" (Mac Miller – Gees) | accepted

He may be referring to OZOcar, which is a chauffeured, eco-friendly car service in the New York Tri-State area. What’s ironic/funny is that you would expect Mac to be in something more extravagant, given his superstar status.

Jojo is the popular singer that became famous after competing on the TV show America’s Most Talented Kids. Mac is saying he’s riding around with girls that either look like her or are on her same level of attractiveness.

This is Mac’s way of saying he doesn’t care that much about hoes to spend all his money on them. He does just enough so he can get what he wants from them. (Refer to line 3 and 4)

known by most* if one of ya’ll could fix that for me.

I didn’t do all of this. Only portions.

This is the 2nd time I’ve had to change that Tutankhamun line. It’s correct, guys. Talib told me himself. Let it be.
