This is the intro track to Da$H & RetcH’s first EP that they’ve doen together.
Right off the bat RetcH goes hard so you know who you’re fuckin with, as this will be the first time a lot of peopel will be hearing him. But don’t watch that, the young'ns been about for a while!
This is a street tune, for the trappers, for the drug takers. But it’s not about Magic City, it’s not the Hilton, this is an underground banga that captures not only all the ruggedness and the intense flows and word play that goes with that, but it also refelcts the recent change in hip-hop toward a early 90s thematic style – hoes and drugs and dark thoughts.
Also, a “Wu-Banga” is a reference to a Woolie (blunt or joint with weed and sprinkled with cocaine). It’s a reference to a saying made famous by the Wu-Tang Clan.
