Effie Trinket Lyrics

The word: Constricted
Beauty to the extreme, Effie’s wardrobe is tight. Literally. And uncomfortable. It’s a reflection of her place in the Capitol. Though she has plenty of Capitol entitlements, she’s still a central part of the reapings. “Her wardrobe keeps her grounded and is her own kind of penance to herself. When she grows close to Peeta and Katniss, she realizes how hard and destructive this is. So she can never really enjoy her Capitol life. For her, she’s bound and constricted to fashion to remind herself of this discomfort,” Summerville says.
