When some die hards favorite rap artist gets defeated on their own song and they try to school you about how it’s not a competition and play apologist. Like what? Rap is very much a competition and if you think it isn’t you have little to no knowledge on rap. You’re literally always in competition to outdo your peers whether with your own body of work, having the superior verse on a shared track and so on. The goal is always to be on top. Cyphers, battle rapping, none of these would be established things were it not a competition. Throw in things like record sales and you are literally always competing for the top spot, even when you’re not competing.I am just putting it out there I am a nobody and I accept that…I have many friends who Bboy and Dj and Emcee and Write and who are Activist…I am proud of you all regardless of your measure of success…I AM PERSONALLY A SUCCESS BECAUSE I AM AT PEACE WITH MYSELF AND OTHERS….THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING MY FRIENDS…..enjoy your day and if you reap any POSITIVE PROGRESSIVE rewards through HIP HOP consider me there in spirit with you poppin' bottles – lickin' shots – and cutting cake…..
