This introduction encapsulates the way hip-hop is a type of therapy to rappers and their listeners. Hip-Hop and music in general has the power to alleviate mental maladies like stress and depression. This album will be that “new technology” that Monch uses to “extract traumatic experiences from [his] memory, restoring healthy life.”

Music is Monch’s way of dealing with PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) which can be the result of the hardships he has gone through in his life. The disease is usually prominent in war veterans who have trouble dealing with the violence they have witnessed and experience.

Additionally, Monche’s previous album was W.A.R. so in a way this album is a sequel or an aftermath of that album.

Ghost rappers are those who have their lines written and then claim its their own lyrics. DZA implies that most rappers in the game today have ghostwriters. Of course he also has to compete with the greats of the past who are constantly showcased on posters.

A$ton and his boys will pull up and gun you down without hesitation. They won’t even bother robbing you either. Matthews also uses the same mentality for the rap game. He don’t care about the money or the fame; just wanna prove that the West Coast can still kill it.

Hodgy continues off the simile between success and a car. License invalid could mean he is driving success using reckless or illegal means. Heading to the palace symbolizes wealth and glory that success will take him to.

Its not homophobic but its contrary to the christian beliefs who believe homosexuality is a sin. Its irony in that they are having gay sex in church

"It's like I'm at twenty, running to the other end zone" (Step Brothers – More Wins) | pending

This is a simile representing his hard life. It is very dangerous and hard for a football player to run from the 20 yard line to the end zone. Only the best running backs can make it. It also implies the pressure on both Evidence and a running back with 11 players trying to tackle you.

These are unfinished

"Introduce you to Christ like Mase," (Dizzy Wright – Untouchable) | accepted

Mase was a Bad Boy Rapper who, for a while, quit rapping to focus on Christianity.

"Drawn like a picture, picture a perfect painting" (Talib Kweli – Turnt Up) | accepted

He is comparing his lines to a perfect painting.

Talib also says that reading about the truth has helped him not believe the lies the media keeps portraying.

"I got ‘em leaking like Nene" (Talib Kweli – Turnt Up) | accepted

When kweli says leaking he means that these rappers are pissing there pants everytime they see him.

"In '78, the doc saw my face and tried to push back" (Ugly Heroes – Good Things Die) | accepted

Could be a reference to the title of the album “Ugly Heroes”. The line shoes how ugly he is

"We get this bitch shaking like Parkinsons" (Kanye West – On Sight) | accepted

I think the shaking could also be from the bass to the songs that he playing. Or he walked into a club or a party and everybody starts dancing (shaking).

"And spit flames in the drought bitch" (Hodgy Beats – Wicked) | accepted

During a drought, a time of little rain, crops are dry up easily and can be easily set on fire.

This could be a metaphor of the rap game. His lyrics will reignite the dry (unskillful) rap game.
