Well Ross is saying you ain’t about that trapping/thug/gangsta life unless you have had made love with your dead homie’s girl and made so much weight that you have to switch cars. It’s subtle, but he is referencing the troubles of profiting from the trap game.

To the ignorant: If you heard this song for the first time and don’t who Captain Ahab os or Moby dick…then you assume that Pharrell is saying a man named Ahab is on his dick..which is gay.

Pause is a modern day version of no homo in which the phrase that was just said could have a sexual undertone, usually a gay one. Pause is sometimes considered necessary in music specifically rap because rap is centered off of double meanings, so in this case pause was needed because for those who don’t know who Captain Ahab is and who Moby Dick is then you would think Pharrell is having sex with a man…which is definitely not the case.

Clever wordplay. As a child the fear was always that monsters were under our beds and was waiting to come out and get us. Sleeping on us is a term used for when people are not paying attention to underground rappers such as the members of Earthgang. Doc connects the two by saying that he is a monster and that the only reason why you must be sleeping on us is because I live under your bed, not because they aren’t good. It’s a ironic/sad statement he is making.

It’s important to know that this song is in reference to “Peso”. Just the nature of the song is different. One is about collecting Peso’s which signifies the struggle of collecting money just to make it. WHile Goldie is about making and being on the rise to the top and also a celebration of who far we (A$AP Mob) has made it. They are ballin' right now especially compared to the Peso days.

The lines “Party like a rocker, now my niggas wilding with Flockas / Guess who just walked in with a Goyard bag” is an allusion to the original Pretty flakco.

The first line “ Party like a rocker, now my niggas wilding with Flockas” is alluding to in the original Pretty Flacko’s “ Party like a rocker but my niggas wilder than Flocka”

The second line “Guess who just walked in with a Goyard bag” is alluding to in the original Pretty Flacko’s “Get niggas for the Goyard it cost too much so we bogart”

These lines compares the difference between the success of A$AP Rocky and A$AP mob. Before the fame they were wilding out like people they see like Flocka…now they made it and they actually wild out with Flocka which is on the the actual remix. And Flacko couldn’t afford the Goyard bag so he would rob it, now look at them with the Goyard bag that they just copped (got). These two lines are the actual live progression of A$AP Rocky’s career and wealth. He is doing well for himself and all his dreams came true.

Hilarious line! Rocky calls himself that Pretty Flacko, thus name of the song, and Flacko in spanish means skinny and we all know that A$AP Rocky be dat skinny pretty mothafucka.

Well in spanish Gordo means fat and due to Waka’s size in comparison to Flacko being called Gordo is a good definition. Funny man

FN is a semi-automatic pistol made by the FN brand

Solo Dolo is alluding to Kid Cudi’s song “Solo Dolo” in which Cudi is expressing how he is alone in this world.

Essentially Flocka is saying “Just because I look alone I got my FN on me so if you trying to start a problem I got something for you.”

"Party like a rocker, now my niggas wilding with Flocka" (A$AP Rocky – Pretty Flacko (Remix)) | pending

This line has more significance than that…check its real significance in the next line in which I annotated.

"Goyard bag" (A$AP Rocky – Pretty Flacko (Remix)) | pending

Dawg you messed up the explanation with yo ignorance…this is in reference to his other song…check the annotation I did on “Guess who just walked in with a” RapGenius.

"You know I just don't get it / Last year I was nobody, th..." (Eminem – Marshall Mathers) | pending

Delete this.

"We once had things in common / Now the only thing we shar..." (Frank Ocean – Pilot Jones) | accepted

Also a reference to Andre “Ice Cold” Benjamin (Andre 3000). “I’m ice cold!”.

"They say Tyga and Diggy but Rocky been Jiggy" (A$AP Rocky – Out of This World) | rejected

He cleverly uses the word Jiggy, as in Gettin' Jiggy wit it". Will Smith’s song in 1998. Saying he has been doing this since the 90’s. Beyond clever actually just from one word.

"And I don't like bald pussy, I like wolf pussy" (Gucci Mane – Cyeah) | pending

Actually regular would be hairy considering most women grow hair in the pubic region. Not bald forever.

Chris Webby made this song before MGK. Maybe he stole it who knows. But the actually line is saying that Chris Webby goes crazy like Steve-O who has snorted Wasabe…can’t get any more wild than that

"I don't talk soft, that's that other guy" (Childish Gambino – Bonfire) | rejected

More of a reference to the movie “The Other Guy” Mark Wahlberg’s character who is a badass and curses a lot (hard talk) is juxtaposed to Will Ferrell’s character who talks very soft, as in no cursing very light language. Most likely a reference to the movie because of CG’s many references to movies and that he admires Drake and Wayne.

"Double M, I got G’s out in California" (Rick Ross – Stay Schemin') | rejected

Also the connection of MM which is molar mass, or more the one g. He has many grams with him and has grams out in other places to smoke.

The Holy Ghost is the smoke that Rick Ross is blazing in his car. It is so thick and clowdy he refers to it as the Holy Ghost. The devil is the cops like when they knock on your door window when you do something wrong like speeding or smoking weed in your car. Rick compares the two like a religious experience. Also if the ‘devil’ comes in then the Holy Ghost will leave…he doesn’t want that.
