La Noire Lyrics

Been in a jail cell, I don't wanna go back. To live a good life, that's why I rap this track. In fact this is my passion and craft. But you can never be too sure like Noah's ark. I want to do my part, to lift my dying heart. Wondering who I was all along from the start. As I go I'll figure it out. Everyone around me's trying to figure me out. Always stoned, this kid has it out for him self. He put his old self on the shelf, what's left is nothing but what he'd felt. Emotions gone like all the hands that he delt. If he's not on earth than where else?

Trying to cop a feel, for a grasp of life. Take a good look at it, never think twice. There's a reason I was put on this earth, good advice. To live an average life, it just won't suffice. So I write these raps, to clear my head. I'm only 16, I coulda been dead. But I don't wanna be dead broke. Used to starve and save my lunch money for my weekly tokes. But, I just need to focus. Cause god doesn't just shit out poets. Practice makes perfect, yeah boy you know it. I just don't want to end up soulless
But I also never wanna be smokeless and you know this
Swimming in a sea of women like a gold fish, hoping for the right one cause life's not the only bitch
Had her eye on me, a sound mind to fuck with
