Genius Annotation

In this short track, Ice Cube describes the scene of a dice game backed by funky samples from Average White Band’s “The Jugglers,” Stanley Turrentine’s “Sister Sanctified,” and Melvin Bliss' “Synthetic Substitution.” The title is something someone looking to get into the dice game might say, as in “Which numbers are winning?” or “How much money could I possibly win?”

Sir Jinx revealed that this track was produced with live instruments, and Eric “Vietnam” Sadler talks about guitarist Al “Purple” Hayes, who played on several of the album’s tracks:

I had played with [guitarist and bassist] Al Hayes since we were like 14 years old. He grew up listening to [Jimi] Hendrix and Ernie Isley, just like me. We used to play in bands together and Al would slide on his knees and play guitar behind his back, with his teeth. He was from Freeport, NY [Long Island], he grew up down the street from Flavor Flav. Al was my dude.
