Bangers, Beans, & Mash Lyrics

I think I'll stop and drink
The only thing I've ever seem
To see is you!

Love, there's things I've never said
I need to get them off my chest
Before I'm dead
I feel so bloody dead

Another night you're on my mind
I'm hypnotized, I cannot find the signs
The signs for that you to come home
I need that you to get home
Another night, I'm here alone
These eyes so tired from staring at this phone

Why won't you call and come home
Please call and come home
I know that you won't come just for the cash
But will you come for my bangers, my beans and mash
Oh come for my bangers, my beans and mash
Oh come for my bangers, my beans and mash

Genius Annotation

From the Get Him to Greek Soundtrack. By Infant Sorrow, Russell Brand’s fictional band in the film. This is basically a love song with a tongue in cheek line, referencing the singers “bangers, beans and mash” a euphemism for male genitalia. The term is British slang used, presumably, because Russell Brand hails from England. In the film, this song is featured in the big concert scene that takes place after Russell Brand’s character comes to understand that his own behavior is what is responsible for his unhappiness.
