“Play With Me” is spoken from the perspective of an abandoned children’s toy, angered that it’s been left alone for years. It was originally written because the makers of Bride of Chucky asked ICP to write a song for the film’s soundtrack, but once the song was finished, they told ICP that they no longer wanted it.

Violent J: We made this song, actually, for a soundtrack of a movie, and we were so excited and so honored they called us and asked us to do a song for their soundtrack, even though the movie fuckin' sucked, we were still fuckin' very proud that they called us, and we were like “Oh shit, we’re gonna be on a movie soundtrack,” and they passed on it.
Shaggy: They asked us to do mother fucker! We did it, and they were like, “Nah, we’re cool.” What fuckin' jerks.
Violent J: Think about that. They came to us, you know what I’m saying, and offered us a fuckin' gang load of money, and then were like, “You’re straight, you can keep that shit,” and we were like, “We will keep it, bitch, and we’ll put it out, and it’ll be dope, and it’ll be a classic,” and it is a classic right now… The movie… it was called Bride of Chucky… and when the movie came out, we were glad to not be in it.
