Kobe Bryant is one of the most notable Lakers of all time. Not only has he been one of the most renown players in the league, he won 5 NBA championships, an MVP, and 2 NBA Finals MVPs. Add on his game winners and crunch time buckets, and you have the definition of a clutch athlete:

Ice Cube was confident the Lakers were gonna win a title two years in a row after their impactful win in 2009. How sweet it must have been, because the Lakers did repeat as NBA Champions, and Kobe took home another Finals MVP and yet another championship ring for the city of Los Angeles to celebrate.

This is fellow rapper Nas’s real name. It has been referenced by many rappers, and has been namedropped for his success in the game and how important of a role he has played in hip hop. This whole song is also about Nas, so you know the real name was gonna be said soon.

Good job using a picture! (Although, personally, I would have used a picture or GIF depicting a “bumpy ride.”) Write briefly on why Mac is saying that it is going to be a bumpy ride.

Neon colors are easily distinguished from other colors because of their extreme brightness. If you think you’re bright, Mac Miller is one step ahead—he’s neon!

Cole has to react quickly to stay afloat in the rap game, kind of like how you have to move quickly to escape quick sand.

"I got 5 passports, I’m never going to jail" (Kanye West – Otis) | accepted

This could also possibly be a reference to the mexican drug lord “El Chapo Guzman” who bought several passports after escaping jail. Hence the later reference to “Mexico”.

"Your worst fear is confirmed, your reign at the top expir..." (J. Cole – Revenge of the Dreamers) | accepted

This statement is specifically addressed to Kendrick. Kendrick was arguably at the top of the game last year, and everyone knows it.Coles previous line “Your worst fear is confirmed” Cole also said that line on the song The Jig is Up, which is one of Kendrick Lamar’s songs. So Cole is telling Kendrick that his reign is over, its Jermaines time to shine.

"My next album flop, then I'm goin pop, like Nelly / With ..." (DJ Khaled – Hell's Kitchen) | rejected

And?? Yeah maybe he did have the beat and was recording 200 days ago. That doesn’t mean he couldn’t have changed a line or two.

Here is rap today.
Eminem- Rap God
J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar- On a whole other level than ANY other young rappers

@TheOneGenius It is not a born sinner leftover. Dj Khaled produced the beat (thats why its on Khaled’s Cd) , and if you payed attention to the lyrics he is referring to Kendricks name dropping on Control when he says “Get smacked if you said that I’m neck and neck with these square rappers”, which dropped after Born Sinner in August. But I understand the confusion. #NoDisrespect

It actually says “Bitch nigga we could never relate” instead of “Bitch nigga when could never relate”

"My next album flop, then I'm goin pop, like Nelly / With ..." (DJ Khaled – Hell's Kitchen) | rejected

I don’t think that this was recorded before born sinner. Unless, he changed some lyrics. Because he is obviously addressing Kendrick on his control verse with the line “ Get smacked if you said that I’m neck and neck with these square rappers”. Control wasn’t dropped until August.
