Big Sean’s trying to make it out the gutter and reach legendary status, so all those who he runs can know that there is hope out there.
Also, it is said that Dogs can’t look up, he’s saying he is making it there so his “Dogs.” know it exist even though they can’t see it. It’s wordplay.

In the ghetto, people have to work day to day in order to simply break even, and as such, their aspirations are limited. They aren’t thinking about things like “changing the world” as much as they are being able to pay their own bills. Being rich exists only as a far off fantasy. And so Sean, finally rich, wants to show that there is more than the daily grind.

A reference to Jay-Z’s line in “Otis.” (Also, Domo supposedly began his rap career going by the name “Yung Swag,” of all the dumb-ass names…)

It’s a common conception that sons whose fathers hit it, and then left it to the mother to singlehandedly father their child, turn out to be gay.

Hardcore hip hop is a subgenre of hip hop that is characterized by aggression and confrontation, whether in the subject matter, the driving beats, the gritty production, or any combination of thereof.

I would definitely agree that Jedi Mind Tricks falls under this heading.

An icebreaker is usually some question that’s intended to break an awkward silence between two people. Instead of using meaningless words, however, Paz uses his glock to break the silence:

Icebreakers is also a brand of chewing gum:

"Hangin’ in the islands, lookin’ for Earl like Toejam" (Childish Gambino – Bonfire) | rejected

Are you fucking serious?

Please try to restrict any hatred to as low as possible.

"The favorite nigger turned" (EarlWolf – Orange Juice) | rejected

This song, despite what its title may imply, has nothing to do with OJ Simpson. Tyler is talking ‘bout himself.

"Rap monster Earl Sweat attack, conquer" (EarlWolf – Orange Juice) | rejected

Just because the words are the same doesn’t mean it’s relevant.

"Rap monster Earl Sweat attack, conquer" (EarlWolf – Orange Juice) | rejected

Having a hard time figuring out how that quote relates at all to this line.

Since the music player doesn’t seem to be working for this page, here’s the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-_j-iMi5g0

correction:
“Wreck a booth up, I’m too tough
That inner-city grammar, step your jewels up
They bruised up, I’ll sparkle for the camera
Harsh reality’s what pulls them
And holding them back from opening
Verbal attack all over these niggas
Push the herd to the back
I’m the kind that they prey on
Spending half of they day on
Lay on niggas for days, the shots spray on”

"...fucking stupid" (Lloyd Banks – Celebrity (Remix)) | rejected

All you can hear on the song is “fucking stupid”.

Apparently (http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1652111/20101111/banks_lloyd.jhtml) Eminem was given a few tracks off “Hunger for More 2” to spit a verse on. He did do a verse for “Celebrity”, but (obviously) he wasn’t too happy with it and the verse was then nixed from the album version.

Perhaps it reminded him too much of his Encore days?

To the editors — the explanations in this article need serious cleaning up
