Genius Answer

During a Drink Champs podcast episode, N.O.R.E. said:

You had the foresight to see that the music industry was going to the south. You was the first dude to have two south people on.. You was from New York but you had Trick Daddy and you had T.I.

Bleek responded:

I seen it coming my G, with the whole No Limit movement, the first Cash Money wave.

It’s an exaggeration to say Bleek facilitated the way New York began to embrace the South, but he certainly put the thought in the back of people’s minds.

Was this song meant to be the first single from the record?
Genius Answer

Bleek told Drink Champs:

They ain’t even wanna make it the single. They tried to push “Everything’s A Go.” “Everything’s A Go” ain’t work… Jay like “we gotta go. You just pick a song and we go with it.” I said “Let’s go with ‘Round Here’. He like "You sure?” I’m like “Trust me.”
