Invisible Lyrics

[Intro]
Yeah, ah, c'mon, c'mon, yeah, ah
We’re dealing with the invisible entity
The one that you can’t see
But you can feel
C’mon, ah, yeah

[Verse 1]
We spend every waking minute making something you can’t see
Posit effect, but still it tickles you fancy
Remove panties, the game a long, you fall short
You need the ‘disiac
Watch the way the smeary act

Beyond magical, you double the sound waves
Without this entity your life will be downgrade
And in the vehicle you just can’t absorb it
I put you out of orbit
Then you rush back for more shit
I pour more wet with melody and bass playin’
Record more heats, just wanna put the space twangin’
We use rooms of equipment, to create this
And still you can’t hold it till it’s wrapped in plastic cases
And scientists ain’t even try be going breed it
And everybody need it
But the world can’t see it
If the world can’t see it, then how would they believe it
I bet you ain’t thought about the how can you conceive it
[Hook]
Although you can’t see it, but you know it’s there, ‘cause you feel it
Although you can’t see it, but it feels so good and you need it
Although you can’t see it, but you know it’s there, ‘cause you feel it
Although you can’t see it, but it feels so good and you need it

[Verse 2]
Big and small makes the Cadillac
Four drag the SL nine thousand super analog
Conceals, just to grip the invisible
Big corporation for something that ain’t physical
From manufacturers of musical instruments
To manufacturers of musical incidents
Record companies, fat cats and banners
Who mose the invisible blow up for the summer (I don’t know)
I don’t really wanna trip on this funny shit
I’d rather buy the flyer speakers if money gets
Waves flush away, and that puts your face in
So you mean it when you tell me that you take my vibrations
These types of measurement
For workers your pleasure big
The golden section and my keyboards are resident
From the west to east the seaboard is evident
Importance of a groove that ain’t optically relevant
And if it moves fast enough you can touch it
I think it’s better left a mystery so fuck it
I work, wanna earth, important these jobs
Making something out of your vision just by pressing these knobs

About

Genius Annotation

That’s the nineth track of Moka’s album Lime Green released 2001.
Moka, who produced most of the album himself, including “Invisible”, is comfortable with a smooth melodic groove; the songs are catchy and appealing although the jazzy piano, cheesy synths, bouncy basslines, and two-part harmonies may be too sugary for some listeners. The guest appearances are by Sun Spot Jonz, Abstract Rude, Perfect Strangers, LMNO, and Swollen Members.
