Trust Lyrics

Dudes 3 and 4 stagger in through the front door as gunshots ricochet through the hallway. Dude 3 falls backwards, revealing two wounds in his abdomen and left shoulder. Dude 4 reaches The Boy and Dude 2. Dude 1 regroups with them. The sound of broken glass is heard all around

The Boy
(to himself)

Dude 1
(panicking, yet controlled)
Where’s Smith?

Dude 4 nods his head towards Dude 3. A pool of blood is beginning to form around his body

Dude 1 (CONT’D)
Shit! There weren’t supposed to be any problems
(to Dudes 2 and 4)
We’ve gotta get him outta here. You two cover us

Dudes 2 and 4 nod. Dude 1 grabs The Boy’s arm and leads him upstairs. The Boy catches one last glimpse of Smith’s body and wonders what it’d be like to die like the guy he filmed at the club

Dude 1 leads The Boy into one of the bedrooms and closes the door. Moving a dresser to block it. As he does this, The Boy looks out the window to find five faint silhouettes in the back of a murdered-out Escalade with bags over their heads

(noticing The Boy staring out the window)
Hey! What the fuck are you doing?

He pulls The Boy away
The Boy
(questioning)
