I go by Sim, I write pre-amateur raps and I stutter them out in a weak mic and I listen to my A Capella. I listen to a lot of Eminem, since he’s been my favorite rapper for about 5-6 years now and recently turned into my favorite artist just last year. I also like Lil' Wayne and his signature lighter-flicker and smoke before he drops a verse. And I like the old Drake with his UNSTOPPABLE (no pun intended) verses and his sick beats. I listen to Dr. Dre, Royce Da 5'9", Wayne, Eminem, Drake, a little Master P, some Twista, some Tupac, Biggie Smalls, a bit of OFWGKTA, 50 Cent, Akon, T-Pain, and others. Aside from rappers, I listen to a lot of other music too. I listen to Michael Jackson (my second favorite artist), Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears (guilty pleasure), Mike Posner, Katy Perry, Slipknot, Nirvana, Linkin Park, Korn, Limp Bizkit, System Of A Down, Disturbed, and more that I can’t think of right now. Getting to the point, I love rap because of their linguistic meanings and how it’s difficult to catch them, so I’m here on RapGenius to interpret verses as best as I can, and to see if this helps make my pre-amateur lyrics clever.
