OFFICIAL SXSW 2013 Recap Rap for Elon Musk Keynote Lyrics

Wassup, World, It’s Ya Boy SaulPaul
This is the official SXSW keynote recap rap
Today’s highlight…Mr. Elon Musk
Check it out…

Some folks be year’s ahead
Other’s be like aeons
Case and point Musk comma Elon
He’s on
A whole different level
Yeah a different plane
Takes complex things and makes them seem plain
He has his own plane, really it’s rocket
He’s on some George Jetson, Spacely Sprockets
He’s made a business from launching objects
Into space and that was today’s topic
At the South By, whole audience had their mouth wide
As he talked about landing on Mars, Southside
East side, West side
He said as long as he could land on it
Any side would be like the best side
His top goal is to land on Mars in his lifetime
He had all the answers he didn’t need a lifeline
And I don’t know if he wanted to be a millionaire
He went past it, he’s like a billionaire

Tony Stark in the flesh, Iron Man
Google it, I ain’t lying man
He also said that he didn’t do it all alone
Cause if he did, that’d prolly be a lonely throne
He shouted out Peter from PayPal
Teamwork makes the dream work
And you can get paid pal!
He talked about Texas and the legislature
He talked about the New York Times and how they’re just some haters
More specifically, really just that dude
His one regret, he didn’t opt to post the truth
And release the rebuttal to the rebuttal
But hey, my time is up so I’m Audi like a SpaceX shuttle

About

Genius Annotation

From SaulPaul himself:

So…this is how it goes down.

SXSW recruited me to create audio recaps (Rap Recaps) of the keynote speeches.

So…these keynote presenters spend hours, days, weeks or months creating their speech or preparing their interview…

And then I listen to it live and make a beat up during the 60 minute speech.

Then I record a 90 second song summarizing their 60 minute speech in under 90 minutes.

They finish at 3p and I have to give it to SXSW by 4:30.

Crazy pressure…but I love it!
