Sam is commenting on how our use of technology is overriding our interaction with each other and because of how advanced we have become we are practically living in the future, where no one interacts with other humans, only with their gadgets.

“Just me and my personal computer” also ties into the chorus where “he only has sex with himself”, presumably using his personal computer for porn.

This verse seems to be aimed at religious people who live their lives by strict rules (“boring as bat shit”) in the hope that they’ll go to heaven (“You think you’ll end up in the sky”). He is curious of their beliefs, possibly because a lot of these people can also be the most judgemental/intolerant of the way others choose to live.

Sam is saying he’d rather these people pour there enthusiasm into what they know is real, living right here right now.

This is the first Yella song to feature Eminem. He’s letting everyone know that both him and Em are on a track so shit is about to go down:

Yella is building/making something off of rap now instead of just doing it for the sake of it, he’s building a career.

This was well before Kendrick said “every verse is a brick”:

Clearly Sinead was on the receiving end of the breakup and got dumped. She doesn’t understand why it didn’t work out and longs to know what she did wrong. Also, she’s crying a lot out of her loneliness.

She is not used to being alone any more. Birds love to sing and without it they too would probably be rather lonely.

We could probably go with this bird forgetting this song though:

As the previous lines set up, alone she is free to do whatever she wishes now that she’s single but all she feels is pain without her boyfriend with her. Nothing compares to being with her ex boyfriend.

Now that she is single she is free to do whatever she wants, especially things he didn’t enjoy (perhaps eating at fancy restaurants) without consulting with her boyfriend but all she really wants is for the pain to go away.

Dinner by yourself out does suck though:

Sinead is most likely going out every night to drink her pain away and sleeping all day because of a hangover/so she doesn’t have to face the day. From the get go this is clearly a break up song that many can relate to:

Keeping with the theme of this girl being like a drug, 50 calls her “my Mary Jane” which is also a common slang term for Marijuana. ‘'My old flame’‘ refers to the literal meaning of a flame being used to smoke, but an ’‘old flame’‘ is also an idiom that refers to a person who you once had a romantic relationship with in the past.

50 also references “A Baltimore Love Thing” where he raps from the point of view of heroin tying in with the theme of the song.

I’m sure it’s probably just me imagining it but I first thought he said “trying to find a way to get you ON loan (CARNAL)” That would add another layer to it but I’m probably reading too much into it.

“we could just not get it together Hey” can also double up as him directing this at Hailie.

As Josh Davis has said in the comments:

“When he says “Think how BANANA’s you’d be” The next line he says he perposely rhymes it to sound like its saying ‘banana’ again. — “You’d B AN AN-imal too” — you should have mentioned that part, its quite essential”

Also coming to shows. Without the fans Solo wouldn’t have a job. Especially in Australian music scene where it’s a lot harder to sell albums and get by.

When we look up at the stars, some of those stars we are seeing don’t even exist any more and it’s just the light they gave off light years ago that we are actually seeing.

By saying that “every verse is a brick” he is also saying that every verse he lays is adding a brick to his career which in turn is building something, his legacy.

"I went to start it and it screamed, "Please fix me!"" (DJ Jazzy Jeff – When to Stand Up) | pending

I said “seen” instead of “scene”. My bad.

""Lord help us, he's back in his pink Alf shirt" (Eminem – We Made You) | pending

Maybe worth adding this pic from the video in as well? Also a mention of how that original photo found it’s way to the internet so he responded by taking the piss out of himself.

"The slut gave me a truck when I turned sixteen" (DJ Jazzy Jeff – When to Stand Up) | pending

Should probably tie in with the next line.

"That's why my brain is out of order / That's probably why..." (Eminem – 'Til Hell Freezes Over) | accepted

As the World turns is also a track Em made on the SSLP, maybe worth a mention.
